Concept Art – Fireflies On Mars

Concept Description

After exploring the mountains and deep waters of the ocean, we decided that the only direction we could go from here was up. During this team-building concept exercise, we wanted to incorporate some more advanced 3D modeling and texturing by creating a complex scene. Although you’d never notice from the final imaging, we packed quite a lot of detail into our martian firefly, which worked out great for close-ups or should we consider future animation. Completing this scene tested our workflow as well as the teams graphic design and 3D modeling skills.
