Project Description
One of our lead graphic designers loves jellyfish…so of course that gave the team at MirrorBox creative a good excuse to surprise her with her very own, custom 3D generated desktop background and screen-saver. We developed this unique artistic piece to capture the beauty of a school of jellyfish swimming though a deep ocean. It was also a great exercise to explore different lighting and material effects that could be combined to create a realistic underwater view. Although we don’t get to explore commissioned 3D design-based projects as much as we’d like to, we still like to flex our CAD muscle. Not to mention, our co-worker get’s a free trip to the aquarium every day.
